Holly Hart, MSN, APRN
Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner - Board Certified
Hi, I’m Holly Hart, a nurse practitioner, dog mom, ametuer baker/chef, and wanderluster.
I graduated from Vanderbilt University with a Master of Science in Nursing. I fell in love with psychiatry and found purpose in helping people from all walks of life rediscover happiness and mental wellness.
I use an integrative approach to treat adults with a wide range of conditions including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, OCD, ADHD, substance abuse, and eating disorders. I combine various treatment options, including medication, supplements, therapy, psycho-education, and more. I will partner with you to develop a personalized plan that you are comfortable with to achieve optimal physical and mental health.
My integrative approach is guided by the following beliefs:
A person’s mental health diagnosis does not define them. Instead of treating the illness, I treat the whole-person by using a holistic approach to restore health and promote resilience.
Medication isn’t the only answer to achieve happiness and mental wellness. By spending adequate time with my patients, I can help you identify resources such as therapists, support groups, exercise regimens, supplements, nutrition plans, and spirituality in order to target your unique needs.
Your mind, body, and environment are deeply intertwined and if they are not operating harmoniously, mental wellness is difficult to achieve.
In addition to seeing adult patients in the outpatient setting, I also work at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta in the emergency department providing psychiatric consultation services. I enjoy teaching nurse practitioner students in my role there. When I’m not seeing patients, you can find me spending time with my dog, exploring nature, gardening, cooking, or making homemade bagels.

My background in school counseling equips me with skills to assist parents of children facing behavioral concerns and learning disabilities.
My approach is client-centered with a focus on increasing self-worth, mood management, and self-empowerment.
I utilize evidence-based therapies in a compassionate and empowering space. We will use a combination of techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Therapy, Psychoanalytic Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy and mindfulness to support your healing and growth.
I believe that everyone has the ability to change and grow, and I am dedicated to helping you tap into that potential by using a supportive and strength-based approach.
I grew up in Durham, NC, moved to Georgia in 2011, and relocated to Florida in 2023. My mother, a teacher, was a powerful role model who inspired me to pursue a career in counseling.
